Our Mission
 Tomkinson African Safaris is a family run company that has been in business in the safari industry in South Africa since 1980. During the past twenty-four years of operation our company has developed a high level of expertise in the planning and conducting of a very wide diversity of African travel itineraries. Essentially, we are an experienced company that specializes in customized itineraries for the top end of the market and our 60% annual repeat client record, speaks for itself
 Non hunting safaris make up half of our annual safari schedule and all hunting is done on private land and forms part of regulated wildlife management programs. The primary objective is environmental conservation and sustainable use.
The emphasis of our Wingshooting Safaris is to provide our clients with a wide variety of quality shooting experiences and the opportunities to collect a number of different African Waterfowl and Upland Game Birds. Our population management strategies do not allow for anything other than reasonable bag limits, the reason for this is that we only hunt free living, wild game birds.
 We have numbers of different modules that can be “plugged” into itineraries for hunting, non-hunting and wingshooting safari itineraries in South Africa, Botswana, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Zambia and Mozambique. One theme that runs through our entire operation is that accommodations are of top quality with attached bathrooms to all bedrooms, being the norm. While meals and wines are of Cordon Bleu quality with the accent on highlighting the local culture, tradition and wines. During our hunting safaris meals with venison feature highly on the menus. Naturally should there be clients who have specific dietary needs, these will be catered for.
